Historical withybeds

Work at the Rhoonse and Carnisse withybeds, the Mariënwaerdt Estate and the Linschoten Estate. That totals some 90 hectares of old withybeds. Winches are used to drag all the harvested willow from the old withybeds to the paths. We also use special wood carrying machines and boats to transport the harvested wood to the storage facility. We pay careful attention to our working methods in terms of nature and the preservation of our cultural heritage in the form of these beautiful historical withybeds.
