Tying on fascines in Aruba. Anything is possible at Van Aalsburg. The faggots, the geotextile and lashing rope were flown over from the Netherlands. We processed the fascine in Aruba Barcadera (near Oranjestad) using our own knowledge and experience. We thought of sustainable solutions for the protection of tropical coasts and rivers against rising water levels. Simple but effective. Just as it is in the Netherlands. The customer was Baggerbedrijf De Boer BV – Dutch Dredging BV from Sliedrecht, the Netherlands.
